The Government of Japan (GOJ) provides the escort operation by Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) for vessels in accordance with the following schedule.

The JMSDF sends the following SCORT SCHEDULES in January 2012 as the information to facilitate your planning.

       Escort schedules in JANUARY 2012

The rendez-vous (start & end) position:

               “A” 11-50N, 045-00E           Base speed: 12 knts

               “B” 14-28N, 053-00E           Base speed: 12 knts

Westbound (start “B” and ending "A"):               

· 1400UTC 02 JAN 12

· 1400UTC 09 JAN 12

· 1400UTC 13 JAN 12

· 1400UTC 20 JAN 12

· 1500UTC 30 JAN 12

Eastbound (start “A” and ending "B")  

· 1400UTC 07 JAN 12

· 1400UTC 11 JAN 12

· 1400UTC 18 JAN 12

· 1400UTC 26 JAN 12

Please note that application for JMSDF escort operation must be made directly to the GOJ, which is a separate procedure from the application to MSC(HOA).
