The Government of Japan (GOJ) provides the escort operation by Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) for vessels in accordance with the following schedule.

The JMSDF sends the following SCORT SCHEDULES in May and June 2012 as the information to facilitate your planning.

Please notice that Japanese Starting Points are as follows:

• Point A:  11-50N, 045-00E
• Point B:  14-28N, 053-00E
• Point C:  14-55N, 054-38E

Escort schedules in JUNE 2012 

Westbound (start “C” and ending "A"):

· 0500UTC 02 JUNE 12

Westbound (start “B” and ending "A"):

· 1400UTC 10 JUNE 12

· 1400UTC 18 JUNE 12

· 1400UTC 22 JUNE 12

· 1400UTC 29 JUNE 12

Eastbound (start “A” and ending "B") 

· 1400UTC 08 JUNE 12

· 1400UTC 16 JUNE 12

· 1400UTC 20 JUNE 12

· 1400UTC 27 JUNE 12

Please note that application for JMSDF escort operation must be made directly to the GOJ, which is a separate procedure from the application to MSC(HOA).
