Japanese Convoy Schedule for APRIL & MAY 18

(11 April 2018)

1. GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Government of Japan (GOJ) provides the escort operation by Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) for vessels in accordance with the following schedule.

Please notice that Japanese Starting Points are as follows:

Point A: 11-50N 045-00E
Point C: 14-55N 054-38E

Be advised that these points are provided by the Japanese Navy, and may not correspond in latitude and longitude, and either the naming convention of IRTC.

2. SCHEDULE:

APRIL

Westbound (start “C” and ending "A"):

05:00 UTC 13 APR 18
05:00 UTC 21 APR 18

Eastbound (start “A” and ending "C"):

14:00 UTC 29 APR 18

MAY

Westbound (start “C” and ending "A"):

05:00 UTC 14 MAY 18
05:00 UTC 28 MAY 18

Eastbound (start “A” and ending "C"):

14:00 UTC 19 MAY 18

Please note that application for JMSDF escort operation must be made directly to the GOJ, which is a separate procedure from the application to MSC (HOA).
